Florists in the United States range from neighborhood flower shops with a walk-in cooler to studio designers who work only by appointment for weddings and events. Most retail florists build arrangements to order, deliver the same day when you call before early afternoon, and belong to a wire network (FTD, Teleflora or BloomNet) that passes out-of-town orders to a local shop. Ordering from the shop directly rather than through a national website usually means more flowers for the money, because no order-gatherer takes a cut. Flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, often early in the morning, and many now open to the public. Flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies and sunflowers and sell by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own.
No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. I can't believe I haven't left a review for my favorite flower farm! I've been buying their bouquets from the Emmaus farmers market and their farm stand for years now and they are always absolutely stunning. Also, the best part of supporting small businesses is getting to know the awesome owners who run them! And Sarah and Kevin are great people who have helped me with flower related favors multiple times! Get some flowers, get your friend flowers, everyone will love these beautiful blooms.
